Robert DiSilvestro

Dr. Robert DiSilvestro earned a B.S. in biochemistry from Purdue University and a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Texas A&M. He also took bible courses as well as religion classes such as New Testament Greek and Religions of the West. Dr. DiSilvestro was a nutrition professor for thirty-four years between Purdue University and The Ohio State University.


Over his career, he conducted many studies over a range of areas including mineral biochemistry and clinical nutrition. His later research included gathering data on subjective perceptions such as exercise-induced soreness and mental fatigue. Dr. DiSilvestro applies a researcher’s mind set to studying the Bible and uses his teaching background to communicate deep Christian truths in an understandable way.


These communications have led to Dr. DiSilvestro becoming a notable figure in the apologetics community, which evaluates evidence for God from specialty fields. He has now branched out into teaching about God leading people personally.
